It's been STUPID cold this week in Baltimore. High of 30 degrees with painful whipping wind stupid cold. This weekend my family has plans to go to the Parade of Lights in Annapolis. It's an annual holiday tradition with boat owners showing off their Christmas light decorations. We used to go when my sister and I were little and I really wanted to go again this year. I'm super excited about spending time with my family and looking at all the pretty boat lights but not so excited about standing on the Annapolis docks freezing my pants off.
I'm in the process of crocheting a cozy scarf to go with my black peacoat. Hopefully I will finish before Saturday evening. But how awesome would it be if I had the motivation and time to make one of these?
This DIY from Prudent Baby for ear warmers seems so easy. Maybe a little too easy... but my ears would be oh so happy on Saturday night.
